The Orlean Bullard Beeson School of Education and Professional Studies' Media Center will make the shift to digital broadcasting this summer in order to comply with FCC requirements. Media Center Director Ed Landers made the announcement from Las Vegas, Nev., the site of the National Association of Broadcasters convention. "All broadcasters in the U.S. must switch from analog to digital broadcasting by February 17, 2009, and this move will put us there six months early," Landers said. The School of Education and Professional Studies will partner with Broadcast Pix and Sony of America for the transition.
