Gwin Elementary School, part of the Hoover City School System, sent 21 of its third grade students from Jill Foshee’s class, to Samford University to view a 3D presentation of the solar system.  The presentation was powered by 3dh Communications, and built by undergraduates using a state standard lesson plan.  Gwin elementary’s technology coach Carla Marchant taught the unit, which covered the four inner planets of the solar system as well as the sun.  After enjoying the presentation, the students had refreshments and took pictures with some of the staff.
