OBBSEPS Faculty made 10 professional presentations in February 2008. This is a very positive trend as faculty have been encouraged by Dean Box to engage in regular scholarly work. Drs. Clara Gerhardt and Kristie Chandler (Family Studies) presented three papers at a Child Life management conference in Jackson MS. Drs. Robb Hensarling, Alan Jung, and Chuck Sands (ESSM) made three presentations at the Southeast American College of Sports Medicine annual meeting in February 2008. Hensarling, Jung, and Sands also made a presentation at the Southeast Athletic Trainer’s Association meeting in Atlanta in February. In addition, Drs. David Finn and Amanda Hilsmier (Teacher Education) made a presentation at the Lorman Educational Services Seminar in February. Finn also presented at the Central Alabama Early Intervention Council. Also, Dr. Les Ennis presented at the University of Alabama Law School to an Alabama Bar Institute for Continuing Legal Education.
